Read for the House Ronald McDonald Clip Art

Read for the House Program

Rose Tree Elementary students have participated in the Read for the House program that
benefits the Philadelphia Ronald McDonald House for several years now. Last year, we were
able to raise over $12,000 for families staying at the House. Packets containing more
information about the program were sent home last week, but in the meantime, you can
visit to learn more and sign-up your child with an online fundraising
page. If you created an online page for your child last year, you can log in using the same
username and password you previously created. Please note that if you have more than one
child participating in the program, they will each need their own online account using a
different email address. There will be further instructions regarding setting up your child’s
online fundraising page in the packets that will be sent home. Thank you for your support and

Rita’s has joined the Read for the House program as a sponsor and will be offering FREE
to the TOP 3 FUNDRAISING SCHOOLS! Rita’s will
also be providing a participation prize to ALL READERS who turn in a Read for the House
packet or create an online fundraising page at ALL SCHOOLS!

RTES Board Meeting Spotlight Spot Light Clip Art

Anyone who was able to attend the last month’s school board meeting will agree that it was
certainly a night to be Husky Proud! The Select Choir sang the National Anthem, 2nd grade
artists had an opportunity to exhibit ceramic artwork, and a group of 2nd grade students were
able to share a little of this year’s Community Day. Thank you to Ms. Williams for preparing
the choir so well – we all thought their performance was outstanding. Mrs. Richardson not only
organized a wonderful art exhibition, but also helped put together the video presentation shared
that evening – thank you for all the time and effort that went into doing this. Thank you to our
2nd grade team – Mrs. Michaels, Mrs. Lynch, and Mrs. Barnes – for planning such a special
presentation as well as preparing their students for their performances. Finally, thank you to all
the parents who supported their children and our school by attending the meeting.
