Keyboarding in RTM

Keyboarding is an important skill for students to have in the 21st Century. As part of our curriculum, Rose Tree Media currently is subscribed to an online keyboarding program, Typing Pal Online, for our students in grades 3 through 5. All students in these grades will receive keyboarding instruction and practice.

The program, Typing Pal Online, is a web-based program which offers two advantages. The first advantage is 24/7 access for our students in those grades. Students are able to practice their skills on any computer, including their home computer. The second advantage is that teachers are able to track student progress in the Teacher Management module of the program. This helps us to monitor progression through the program and adjust students' goals for completion.

The exercises listed below will be helpful to parents who are seeking additional practice for their students.
