Penncrest Students Successfully Audition for PMEA

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, 17 Penncrest High School students have been recognized as District Level musicians by the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association

PMEA held auditions in December. Students submitted video auditions to showcase their skills in band, chorus, and orchestra. PMEA announced the recognized students last week.

“We are incredibly proud of our students for continuing to practice and hone their musical skills, even at a time when they have been unable to come together as a group this school year,” said Ralph Harrison, Principal of Penncrest High School. “Our school is privileged to have such a robust and successful music program that provides opportunities to students to learn to play instruments and explore their talents and creativity. We appreciate our students’ hard work and dedication, which has been recognized by PMEA.”
